Lindesberg Town Council – from the mines in the north to the plains in the south
Lindesberg is a town in the borough of Örebro, in the county of Västmanland in central Sweden. With a population of 23 000 inhabitants it collaborates with the neighbouring towns of Nora, Ljusnarsberg and Hällefors. The town covers a large area, with sweeping meadows and fields of corn and rape in the south, with enchanting small lakes full of water-lilies. And in the north the wings of history sweep over you with mines that go back in time for hundreds of years. It is a unique landscape, from mines to plains.
“Our council’s IT and telephony unit started looking for a company that could offer an overflow service with Switchboard at a Distance, to support our own switchboard and handle calls when our operators are off sick or unavailable for other reasons,” Christel Store, operations manager, says. “For some time we had had trouble finding alternative operators who could come in and help out at short notice. And the turnover of temporary staff was high. We had Kalix Tele24 as an alternative from an earlier project.
“We are very satisfied with our Connect solution, and with Kalix Tele24. They took our problem seriously and once we had signed an agreement they were quick off the mark. Our contacts at Kalix Tele24 give a very professional impression and they inspire confidence with their knowledge and understanding. Their operators give a very good impression when they answer calls and there is never a problem if we need to increase the volume of calls to Kalix Tele24”, she concludes.
