Eka Chemicals continued their 24-hour service and cut costs
Eka Chemicals, based just north of Gothenburg, is a leading supplier of chemicals to the pulp and paper industry. They had for many years hired external janitors and were looking for a better solution to replace them. So in 2006 they decided, for reasons of cost, to outsource their telephone answering function after office hours and at weekends. They chose to work with Kalix Tele 24, and we have worked together since December 2006.
- KalixTele 24 were able to offer a more complete solution – none of their competitors had a system that really worked”, says Rolf Dyresjö who is in charge of telephony at Eka Chemicals.
The solution Kalix Tele 24 supply is Connect in synchronization with Eka Chemicals’ own Netwise messaging system. This means that the operators have access in real time to messaging information and can give correct information to the caller, or connect them to the person they want to talk to.
Rolf Dyresjö is satisfied with the first three months of this project. -There were some teething problems initially, as there always are, but since then everything has worked well and we are very happy with the service, he says.
During the three month period Kalix Tele 24 handled 600 calls and the cost was lower than previously, when they had external staff handling the calls.
